Washing and Preparation

Initial Preparations

We prepare the washing room, ensuring cleanliness and the availability of all necessary materials.

Transfer of the Deceased

The deceased is respectfully transferred to the washing room.

Body Washing

We perform the washing of the body according to Islamic rites, ensuring that the deceased’s privacy (awrah) is always respected. Family members may participate in the washing if they wish, and they will be assisted by our team to pay a personal and respectful tribute to the deceased.

Drying and Wrapping in the Shroud (kafan)

After the washing, the body is carefully dried. We then wrap the deceased in the kafan:

For men: The kafan generally consists of three pieces:

  • Izar: A cloth that covers at least the lower part of the body.
  • Qamis: A cloth that covers at least the torso and arms.
  • Lifafah: A large cloth that completely envelops the body.

For women: The kafan generally consists of five pieces:

  • Izar: A cloth that covers at least the lower part of the body.
  • Qamis: A cloth that covers at least the torso.
  • Khimar: A cloth that covers the head and shoulders (veil).
  • Lifafah: A large cloth that completely envelops the body.
  • A chest cloth: An additional cloth used to cover the chest.

Coordination of the Burial

We organize the transport of the body to the cemetery and arrange the prayer for the deceased according to the family’s wishes. If the family has additional requests or specific arrangements, this may influence the cost of the service. We are committed to respecting the family’s wishes while ensuring a respectful service that complies with Islamic rites.

Our team ensures a respectful service in accordance with Islamic rites, honoring the memory of the deceased with the required dignity.
